about

When the poisoned lawn fills my lungs,
blip and chirp and circle me.
I don't care what lands on my head
because it's all love anyway.

My God is a little boy on a bike
with his eyes locked on me as I tremble.
His bubble spinning, searching, answering.
Skinless mystery leaks light.

I hand myself in to love until there's nowhere to go.
I cave in (which is out) before love so there's nothing left but love.
I tense then release my grip so love snuggles about.
I just give up and plop down on the ground.
Hitch on the shoulders of a river.
Taken by the data which are the one datum until my phone buzzes.

Where is the abyss of establishment laid out for me to colonize?
An underlying Thanksgiving precinct honing bliss translated as contentment for every utensil to bounce every utensil off of.

What is this child-like, elusive, circular rendezvous that stabilizes?

My cuts are expecting.
The voice of the wound is due any second.
(Bang!)
One of the arms, secreting food, is speaking, ardent, passionate, and appears as them, a pulsating star.

They're kissing me, my love alight.
They're missing me, we'll soon unite.
Remind me again I am.
Remind me just one more time.
Soon, on my own, I will remember.
Soon enough, I will hear them emanating from inside our home.
It must be soon and it must be enough.

They are this adorable two-leafed potted plant.
I drool at the thought of hearing them sing.
Soft green, squeaky clean, gentle glean.
Maybe sometime they could sing me goodnight?
Maybe one night they could sing me to sleep?

It is utterly the most astounding sound.
It tastes like grace & rays inbound.
I'm zapped, so we now might fool around.
A hand swimming in a hand, wet & drowned.

May we smolder righteously,
singed in moonlight indefinitely,
our microscopic deaths, but in effigy.
